Believing

By: Amanda Porter

A year and half ago I started college believing that it was Yahveh’s direction for me to enter nursing school. Bishop confirmed this direction and after prayer and counsel we also believed that Yahveh would provide the finances. I applied for a scholarship at a local hospital that would cover these finances. In a recent service Bishop prophesied that indeed I was in the will of Yahveh by going tonursing school and that I would know this because they would give me a scholarship. Well several weeks later I received a letter stating that I had not been chosen for the scholarship. Discouraged and disappointed, I emailed Bishop letting him know about the letter and how I felt. I then prayed and reminded myself of all that Yahveh has done in my life and that there was no reason for me to doubt Him now. The next day I emailed Bishop again telling him about my change of heart and he encouraged me in the direction of Yahveh. Later on that afternoon I received a phone call from the lady in charge of the scholarships at the hospital. She told me I could tear up the denial letter I had received and that they would like to offer me the scholarship. Only Yahveh could work things out in such a way. He is ever faithful.
